What you'll find in a liquidation auction
Liquidation stock is the merchandise big retailers can't put back on the shelf: customer returns, open-box items, shelf pulls and overstock. Every Auction X auction is a new mix — one sale might have power tools, small appliances and brand-name electronics; the next might lean into home goods, seasonal items and toys. Because the stock is liquidation, prices start at $2 and the bidding decides the rest. Every lot is photographed as it actually is and given a condition grade, so you know what you're bidding on before you bid.
How it works
1. Register free for the current auction — it takes a couple of minutes.
2. Bid online on the lots you want. Every lot starts at $2, and you can set a maximum bid and let the system bid for you.
3. Auctions close on Sunday evenings, with lots closing in staggered order — so keep an eye on your favourites near the end.
4. Pick up in Hamilton at 389 Emerald St N during pickup hours, or choose delivery at checkout.
New auctions run every two weeks — if you miss one, the next is never far away.
What you'll actually pay
